The Coloniales was featured in the first round of Trinidad expansion in 2003, five years after the inaugural Trinidad Fundadores in 1998. At that time, Trinidad seemed destined to produce primarily slender cigars, a trend they have shifted away from since. The Coloniales is classed as a Corona size, designed to smoke for roughly 45 minutes. The body is medium strength and this vitola imparts nutty flavours combined with oak & cedar woodiness.
