Although Rocky Patel has been making a Sun Grown series since the mid-2000's, the Sun Grown Maduro has only existed since 2016. It made an instant impression, including a placement in the coveted number 2 spot on Cigar Aficionado magazine's Top 25 of 2016 for the Robusto. It's a blend heavy with strong Nicaraguan filler tobaccos wrapped in a strikingly dark Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper.
The Sun Grown Maduro Robusto smokes for roughly 60 minutes and imparts flavours of dark chocolate, leather, minerals, and nut.
