While Cuba has generally stayed within tradition and avoided Maduro cigars, the positive feedback towards the Cohiba Maduro 5 series in 2007 clearly changed some minds. This led to the creation - in 2015 - of the Partagás Maduro No.1 as a limited release meant for La Casa Del Habano retailers only, which led to more Partagás Maduro cigars a few years later. The Maduro No.1 is a Robusto size that imparts cocoa, spicy and leathery flavours and smokes for about 60 minutes.
