Matilde was among the most prolific cigar brands of the 2010's, debuting their inaugural series Renacer in 2014, followed by the Oscura series in 2015 and the Serena just a year after that. Matilde Serena cigars feature a blend that includes an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper, a Dominican binder, and filler tobaccos from both the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The Serena is the mildest of the existing Matilde series.

The Serena Toro Bravo offers a leisurely 70-80 minute smoke, brimming with flavours of cedar wood and nut with an underlying natural sweetness.
