When it comes to the smoking end - or head - of a cigar, all seasoned smokers are familiar with Parejo (round head) and Figurado (pointed head). Not everyone is familiar with the third option, the Chisel head, likely because it's the invention of La Flor Dominicana founder Litto Gomez, and utilized exclusively on LFD cigars. Besides it being a stylistic stamp on some LFD cigars, the Chisel end is meant to deliver a concentration of flavour through this tight, flattened shape.
The Double Ligero Chisel Maduro combines this unique style with a dark Maduro wrapper leaf and whole lot of ligero leaf in the filler blend. This makes for a powerful, spicy smoke with the dark wrapper adding notes of leather and coffee bean. The Chisel Maduro is an oversized Toro, and smokes upwards of 90 minutes.
