With its inception being traced back to the early 1970's, Don Tomás is a relatively old and seasoned player in the Honduran cigar space. Always considered a quality cigar at an affordable price, in 2005 Tomás re-tooled the blend of their signature Clasico series to provide even better bang for the buck.
This re-blending paid off immediately, as the Clasico Presidente was voted into Cigar Aficionado magazine's top 25 list just a year later - an impressive feat for a 'budget' cigar. The new blend preserved the traditional woody and nutty flavours of the Clasico while bringing a touch of sweetness to the smoke as well.
The Clasico Presidente is a Double Corona size that offers medium to full-bodied strength and smokes upwards of two hours.
