John R. “Johnny” Cash is widely regarded as one of the most influential American musicians of the 20th century. His legacy continues to inspire many, including Crowned Heads. The Jericho Hill blend was inspired by Cash’s rendition of Cocaine Blues from his 1968 live album, At Folsom Prison, and the names of the four vitolas are all drawn from the lyrics and music found on that landmark album.
In honour of Cash, Crowned Heads created an uncompromisingly powerful blend that combines a Mexican San Andrés wrapper with toasty and spicy Nicaraguan long-fillers. The Willy Lee in the series is a Toro size that smokes for roughly 90 minutes.
