The story of Brick House sounds like something out of a Hollywood movie: founder Julius Caeser Newman began making cigars in 1895, and started Brick House in the 1930's. The brand faded away over time, only to be resurrected by Newman's grandsons in 2009. Today, JC Newman - maker of Brick House cigars - is the only cigar producer from the 19th century still owned and operated by the founding family.
The Brick House Double Connecticut uses the same acclaimed Nicaraguan filler blend as the Classic, paired with a genuine Connecticut Shade wrapper and Connecticut Broadleaf binder. Authentic Connecticut wrapper tobacco is increasingly rare as many manufacturers opt for Connecticut seeds grown in Ecuador or Honduras due to profitability. However, Brick House remains committed to using genuine Connecticut tobacco, resulting in a rich, spicy flavour with distinct peppery notes, setting it apart from other cigars available today.
The Double Connecticut Mighty Mighty is a Gordo size that smokes upwards of two hours.
