The La Volcada honours a step in the tango dance, originating from Uruguay, where brand owner Litto Gomez was raised. This Churchill-sized cigar features a Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper, Dominican fillers, and an Ecuadorian Corojo binder. The knotted pigrail on the head of the cigar gives it a touch of style.
The blend imparts strong leathery and spicy flavours on the palate, though balanced to some degree by a lighter licorice sweetness. The La Volcada has a burn time of roughly 90 minutes.
