La Aroma de Cuba transcends roots that date back to the late 1880s in Cuba, where the brand became an early favourite of Winston Churchill. The current Nicaraguan version, however, has only existed since 2003 and has exploded in popularity since 2009, when it was re-blended by José "Pepin" Garcia of My Father Cigars fame.
The original La Aroma de Cuba blend features a premium combination of well-aged Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos meticulously wrapped in a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. This medium-bodied cigar offers a delightful profile of cocoa, cedar, molasses, and earth, delivering a nuanced experience across its range of classic sizes.
The LADC Robusto has received some hearty critical acclaim, including a 93 rating in Cigar Aficionado magazine. This thick Robusto can be expected to burn upwards of 75 minutes.
