After several decades of stagnation from Hoyo's popular Epicure series, a new size was finally added in 2008 with the Especial. As has been common from Cuba since the early 2000's, the Epicure Especial was of a more imposing size than was traditional.

This Robusto Extra offers easy medium-body strength with smooth flavours like almond and cream mixed in with some subtle herbal and leathery notes. Smoking duration is about 75 minutes.
