Bolivar Royal Coronas

While the Bolivar brand was established in the very early years of the 20th century, it took them a while to deliver a proper Robusto. Launched in 1969, the Royal Coronas was the last of the regular-production Bolivars to hit the market.
But it was worth the wait, and has built up a very devoted fanbase over the years. This includes the staff at Cigar Aficionado magazine, who voted it the best cigar of the year in one of their first Top 25 lists, in 2006.
Like the other medium-sized Bolivar - the Belicosos Finos - the Royal Coronas delivers full-bodied strength with a heavy earthy flavour at its core. But, also like the BF, it delivers a complex lineup of flavours to keep the smoker interested. Citrus, cedarwood, and coffee bean notes are often found in the Royal Coronas during its very satisfying 60 minute running time.
